Charlie's Chili is comfort food at the beach.  Their food ranges from breakfast, to seafood and mexican food.  The greatest thing about getting a combination meal is that you have you're chioce of salad, chili or chowder.  Do not turn the chili or chowder down, you will regret it!  The food is fantastic!  Sit by the window and enjoy the view of the beach and all the characters that walk by.  Give it a try, and if you show up after 6, you don't have to put change in the meter.

Charlie's chili is a really cute restaurant located right on the boardwalk at Newport Beach. The menu has everything from breakfast to chili to sandwiches to tacos! The prices are incredibly reasonable and the portions are filling!

I definitely will be coming back here to try more!

My family and I decided to go to Charlie chili's. We sat on the patio outside the resturant, the weather was perfect and the service was great. My grandfather ordered the standard bowl of chili with large helpings of onions and cheese, my mom got the clam chowder ( the bowl was left clean), and my father and I ordered the special, tacos with chili cheese frys. It was some of the  best tacos I have ever has.
